Learning Exchange Participants Give Back
Helping others while having fun!
“Aussie Party and Food Shelf Collection” by Learning Exchange participants was a hit! The Australian-themed party featured trivia about unique animals ‘down under’ and off-beat games like Penguin Bowling, Octopus Ring-Toss and Beetle Air Hockey. Participants brought grocery items to donate to the VEAP food shelf as part of the festivities. Said one participant, “It’s important to help other people.”
Learning Exchange offers activities customized for adults with developmental disabilities, sponsored by the School Districts of Bloomington and Richfield.
