Jillian Chapman was elected to the board of the Minnesota Educators of the Gifted and Talented (MEGT). Chapman is the Renaissance program and Javits grant coordinator for ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’ Gifted and Talented programs. She will represent the metro region on the state board. MEGT promotes and supports gifted and talented education through advocacy, outreach, collaboration, equity and innovation.

Chapman has 12 years of experience as a teacher, non-profit leader and education funder. She brings a wealth of experience to the program and into the classroom to support BPS students, staff, and families.

Chapman will represent ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ at an exciting time as the district’s Gifted and Talented programs celebrate 20 years of challenging highly academic and creatively gifted students.
