Jefferson Marching Band presents indoor concerts, national performance

Jefferson Indoor Marching Band

The Jefferson Marching Band and Flags will present its annual indoor marching band concert Oct. 28-30 in the Jefferson auditorium, 4001 W. 102nd St. Performances are 7 p.m. on Oct. 28-29, and 2 p.m. on Oct. 30.

The marching band includes 119 students, grades 8-12, from Jefferson and Kennedy high schools and Bloomington middle schools.

The band is under the direction of Dan Fretland and Jeff Levine, flag advisors Amanda Matson and Rachel O'Bert, and senior drum major Nathan Orcutt. The band will also represent Bloomington and the State of Minnesota with a performance on the deck of the USS Missouri battleship and the Waikiki Holiday Parade in Hawaii on Nov. 23-30.

Tickets for the concert are available at the door prior to each performance. Admission is $10 for adults, and $8 for students and seniors. Weekend passes are available for $25.
